Theme/Focus: Friendship

Lead by: Abby, Oliver, Ava, Matilda & Nicole

What a lovely session lead by a large group, all focusing on the power and capability of friendship! We listened to the scripture piece on Moses on believing in our paths given by God. We performed some of our favourite songs too whilst thinking about ways we can be a better friend to others and the world around us.

Thursday 30th January

Theme/Focus: Differences

Lead by: Tobias & Alvin

A fantastic session focusing on what makes us different but also celebrating those differences. Using Psalms 67:4-5, we listened a range of music as inspiration, focused on places we've been and how we show more kindness in this world!

Wednesday 29th January

Theme/Focus: Courage

Lead by: Dylan, Quinn & Berenice

In this session, we focused on taking steps to be more courageous in our thoughts, our actions and the steps we take to achieve and how sometimes, it can be very scary to do so. Reading Isaiah 41:10 gave us inspiration to know that God is always with us!

Thursday 16th January

Theme/Focus: Being a great listener

Lead by: Mr Payne

A lovely session to start the new term focusing on how we can listen better - to ourselves, to others and to God. We wrote a small piece focusing on how we can improve our listening from our own point of view and read James 1:19 showing how listening more than speaking will bring better choices in our lives.

Thursday 14th November

Theme/Focus: Love

Lead by: Elin, Ruby, Jaxon and Ollie

What a great session focusing on our care for others and focusing on Love as a great force in our world. We had a reading from Matthew 5:43-44 about loving our enemies, listened to a CAFOD story about community and helping each other out and some great songs from Mark10! Da iawn, pawb!

Thursday 7th November

Theme/Focus: Our Emotions and Feelings

Lead by: Myla, Matilda and Anwen

A really lovely first session back after Half Term, where the girls focused on our emotions and feelings. We listened to This Little Light of Mine to welcome everyone in and listened Matthew 26:36-42 focusing on how Jesus felt in the Garden of Gethsemane. We created pictures focusing on how we felt and even had an inspiring story from CAFOD and a prayer too! Da iawn! 

Thursday 17th October

Theme/Focus: We are part of God's family

Lead by: Ruby, Dylan and Christopher

A really lovely session focusing on our own peace and remembering that we are always part of God's family. We all read a calmness prayer together and made comments on how a simple image can make us feel and think about things that are bigger than us. We listened to a story from CAFOD, too. Well done! 

Thursday 10th October

Focus/Theme: Helping Others

Lead by: Onah, Abby and Chloe-Ann

A great session lead for us today all about how we can be appreciative of what we have and how we can help others. We had a reading from Genesis 1:24-31-2:1-4 connecting to things we have focused on during RE sessions. We listened to a story about Ruben from the CAFOD stories and we created cards focusing on how we can support other people. Well done! 

Wednesday 9th October

Focus/Theme: Hope

Lead by: David, Dylan and Roman

What a lovely session focusing on hope and courage. We had a great start listening to Follow Me, then having a reading from Romans 15:13-14. We looked at an image of our world that made us remember the beauty that exists and then read a really lovely prayer helping us to remember that God is always with us. Great job! 

Thursday 26th September

Theme/Focus: Caring for one another

Lead by: Tobias, George and Abby

A lovely session focusing on caring for each other, even those that may have done things against us and how we can focus on giving ourselves to bring out the best in others. We had a great reading from our Children's Bible and then created some work explaining how we can show care for others in our world. Gwaith dda! 

Wednesday 25th September

Focus/Theme: Love

Lead by: Abby, Josh, Arianna and Quinn

Following on our great start to the year, we had a lovely session focusing on love. We had a lovely reading from Matthew 5:43-48 and created some great prayer cards too, showing our thanks and gratitude for all that has been done for us. Da iawn! 

Thursday 19th September

Theme/Focus: Love

What a lovely way to start our Class Worship this year!

Our session was planned and delivered by Elin and Alvin and was all centred on Love and caring for others. We listened to some Mark10 songs, and created a lovely note about how we can look after one another. We listened to John 13:34-35 as our reading. Well done!
