The Curriculum for Wales
The Curriculum for Wales has been developed with education professionals across Wales. Schools have some flexibility in determining how and when they approach the teaching of the curriculum. The Welsh Government ambition was that by 2022 settings and schools will be using the new curriculum to underpin teaching and learning for children and young people aged 3-16.
Our Pupils have developed 4 characters based around the four purposes to help the children in our school focus their learning around them!

Religious Education at St Michael's
Through Religious Education, following the RED, 'To know you more clearly', and Magister resources, children are given opportunities to explore their own experiences, questions and priorities and those of other people, reflect on the value of life and be encouraged to act responsibly towards living things in an open way through the exploration of belief.
