The Welsh Government are hoping to to have
1 million Welsh speakers by 2050.
The Welsh Language charter has been introduced to help achieve this goal. Cymraeg Campus provides a framework which can be used to promote a strong Welsh ethos in schools.
At St Michael's we have appointed a Criw Cymraeg to drive this charter forward. Our Criw Cymraeg help promote use of Welsh around
St Michael's Primary School! You will find them asking and answering Welsh questions throughout the week and recognising peers who are trying their best to use incidental Welsh daily to be celebrated in our weekly praise assembly.
