Autumn Fun 2020

With fundraising still needed during the most difficult of times, we are looking to run a pumpkin event and sell loot bags this year to replace our All Hallows Eve disco.

Welcome Back!

Our first meeting is Monday 28th September via Zoom!

We are always welcoming new members and love sharing fresh and exciting ideas to help raise funds for extra school resources, which is exactly what we need this year NEW IDEAS. If you would like to join the PTFA please email us at so that we can send you a link to our Zoom.

With the new guidance in place of wearing face masks throughout RCT and us politely asking for you to consider wearing a mask during drop-off and collections times. St Michael’s will be taking the opportunity to sell a school face mask to begin fundraising for new bikes and a new bike rack for pupils who wish cycle/scoot to school.

Masks are NOT for children's use during the school day or part of our our school uniform.


Prices: £5 per mask (bundle deal: 4 for £15)

We are now accepting entries for 'The Great St Michaels Bake Off!'

Don’t forget to enter by sending us your picture, recipe and £2 entry fee! Entries cannot be accepted unless payment is made.

St Michaels PTFA does Halloween 👻


Whether you bring 20p or a £1 we've got something for you!

We'll be selling crisps, chocolate, sweets and drinks between 2:15 and 2:30 this Thursday! Please only bring a maximum of £1 to spend!



Need a Parents night? We've got one for you!


Come along to our Bingo Bonanza on Friday 15th November, where there will be mini games of bingo, a quiz, our favourite DJ and lost of prizes to be won! We'll even throw in something fizzy to drink as you walk through the door!

Bristol Christmas Market Trip

There are only 9 tickets left for the Bristol Trip! Promised to be a fun day out from the minute you get on the bus! Again ALL WELCOME, this event is not exclusive to just St Michaels Friends and Families.




We're well on our way to our first event of the year! Don't forget to get your tickets in by Wednesday 23rd October for the Halloween Party at Pontypridd Rugby Club! All Welcome!

New Year, New Fundraising!


Welcome Back!

We had a very successful year of fundraising last year and were able to provide sports clubs with new kits and equipment, classroom with everyday resources and we also made a large contribution toward ICT resources, equipment and maintenance. 


Thank you for following and supporting all our events and we hope that this year will be another successful year enabling us to continue supporting the school in the purchasing of new and up to date ICT equipment, resourcing classrooms, funding trips and sporting events and lots more!!!


Our first meeting of the year is, Saturday 7th September at 10AM in Costa, Nantgarw. Please feel free to come along or get in contact with us if you would like to join our PTFA but cannot attend.
