This term we will be taking part in class and whole school collective worships linked to the many Feast and Holy Days that take place at this time of the liturgical year.
Nursery to Year 2 celebrated the feast Day of St Patrick in their collective worship this week with Miss Davies. (17th March) We heard his story and how he shared the message of the Lord. We looked at the Shamrock and how it reminds us of the Holy Trinity through its 3 leaves.
We celebrated The Feast of St David (1st March) at school on Monday 3rd March with a Mass led by Pastor Gareth, with a mission to carry the message of St David with us, "Be joyful, keep the faith, and do the little things that you have heard and seen me do."
In our Phase Worship this morning with Mrs Williams we thought about the people God has called to help guide us in our faith journey.
We prayed especially for Pope Francis.
Nursery, Reception, Year 5 and Year 6 joined the Parishioners of St Dyfrigs’ and Pastor Gareth this morning on the Feast Day of St Blaise.(3rd February)
Dydd Santes Dwynwen Hapus! (25th January 2025)
In our Phase Worship with Mrs Williams this week we shared Dwynwen's story & talked about how lucky we are to have God's love. We are going to show love at home, at school and in our communities. We also loved giving praise with our singing.
Our first Phase Worship this term in EYFS and PS1 focused on the Feast of the Baptism of the Lord (Sunday 12th January 2025) with Miss Davies. We gathered together to pray for those we are suffering, in times of darkness and those in hope of love and hope. We listened to a reading from the Gospel of Luke, reflecting on what we had seen and heard. Our mission going forward is to do kind actions and have kind words.
